Asthma Medication: A Ticket to weight gain?

Asthma Medications are specifically prescribed to help asthma patients manage symptoms and prevent attacks.

These medications are in the form of inhalers, oral medicines and even injections.

However , constant usage of these medications can lead to bloating, difficulty in breathing, diabetes and skin bleaching which comes as side effects .

Mavis Asare, an asmatic patient stated that she worries about the discomfort the drug gives her and due to that she’s not able to breath well and finds it difficult to get enough rest due to that
Surprisingly, some ladies without asthma misuse these medications just to gain weight and enhance their looks turning a blind eye to the side effects.

What asthma patients endure as an unpleasant side effect, Blecyna, a healthy young lady without asthma embraces it as a shortcut to the body she wants.

According to Blecyna, the asthma drug was introduced to her by her friend when she was underweight so she decided to give it a try and it helped her gain weight. However ,she started having health isssues .

She visited a clinic and had some tests which indicated the side effects were as a result of abusing the asthma medication.

Innocentia oforiwaa, who is also an abuser of the asmatic drug claims that after two months of taking the drug , her breast and hips became fuller and  she started getting compliments for her
looks but after a while of constant usage of the drug, she experienced changes in her breathing pattern and could barely catch her breathe. 

She later found out the change in her breathing pattern was as a result of abusing the asthma drug.

Asthma Medication is a lifeline for those who truly need it, it’s not a shortcut for weight gain or beauty.Misusing it can cause harm to one’s health.
