One reason for this growing craze is its trendy look and wide variety of colors. Rose Konadu Owusu a level 200 student at UniMAC -IFT said, "I ordered mine online and it cost me $120 dollars and I have four of the Stanley cups, it is aesthetically pleasing and does not wet my books like other water bottles that wet my books when ice starts to melt".

Social media influencers and celebrities have also played a big role in the craze. Some Ghanaian shops on Instagram and TikTok also use the hype to promote sales.

The Stanley Cup bottle has become one of the most talked-about lifestyle items in recent times. Once seen as just another water bottle, it has now grown into a global trend, with young people, influencers, and even professionals joining the craze.

With the craze and hype for the Stanley Cup market women are also cashing out big time. Gifty Ankrah, a Stanley Cup vendor at Makola market said, "lot of people are buying and asking for it everyday and sales are booming, I will continue selling it until people stop asking for it".

Nana Esi who is also a vendor said, "it was very expensive when it first came to the market but now it has reduced, I sell them between 150-300 Ghana cedis and it depends on the type and color you want".
